Black Cultural Archives London: the educational power of archives

In connection with the Black History Month in October 2020, it is worth having a look at the Black Cultural Archives in London which celebrates Black history all year long. Since their foundation in 1981, the archive collects, preserves, and celebrates the histories of African and Caribbean people in Britain. I want to highlight in this the educational value of the archive’s materials, as its whole existence is based on and originates from the intention and the need to educate.
